MAKERSPACE AGREEMENT

Learning and working in a maker space can be exciting and rewarding but it can also be difficult and dangerous. Because of this, we would like to come to an agreement on how and why we work in this maker space together. Today we want to come to an agreement that guides our time together in this space for the rest of the year.

Never run or wrestle in the maker space.

Always leave the maker space cleaner than before. Never line up at the door when cleaning is needed.

Always sign the checkout sheet when using a cutting blade. Never let a blade leave the maker space.

Always use a green cutting mat underneath your material when cutting.

Never let your cell phone disrupt your opportunity to learn or your ability to be present.

Do not ruin or disrupt the learning opportunities of your fellow classmates with your behavior.

Never steal anything from the maker space.

If you ever have a question about anything, don't be afraid to ask. This is a place for learning.
